Do you have any indoor space available in the event of weather conditions?

Unfortunately, we do not have an indoor space available. However, our reception lawn can fit up to a 40 x 60 foot rental tent, and the ceremony lawn can fit a smaller tent as well. The tents are beautiful when they’re all dressed up in twinkle lights! Contact us for more information!

Can we choose our own caterer?

Absolutely! You can choose to have a caterer, food truck, or you may even provide your own food. We do not offer any catering services at our venue, nor is there access to an on-site kitchen or refrigeration.

What is the max capacity?

Due to parking we are limiting the guest to a maximum of 300 person including the wedding party.

What is your policy on alcohol?

We allow beer, wine, champagne, and hard alcohol on the property. However, all alcohol must be served by a licensed bartending service and all OLLC guidelines and permitting followed. Contact us for more information on vendor recommendations.

Is there an insurance requirement?

Yes, this is required. Special event liability insurance of $1,000,000 is required for all couples. The insurance, at the renter’s sole expense, will provide and maintain public liability and personal property damage insurance. This will include insuring The Chateau Herbe LLC, owner, contractors, and contracted vendors against bodily injury, property damage, personal injury, and other loss arising out of the couple’s use and occupancy of the premises. If serving alcohol, this policy will also need to include Host Liquor Liability coverage to protect you from alcohol-related accidents, as you are ultimately liable for the safety of your guests. Please submit a copy of the certificate of insurance to the Chateau at least 30 days prior to your event.

Is there a bridal suite available for getting ready?

Yes, we do offer space in the lower level of the chateau for the bridal party to get ready.  2022 the upstairs will still be under construction.

What is your COVID policy?

The Chateau Herbe will follow all outdoor Jackson County guidelines and recommendations to ensure the safety of our couples, guests, and staff. 

What is your cancellation policy?

In the event of a cancellation, Chateua Herbe LLC requires written notice. A couple’s deposit is non-refundable as it reflects the venue owner’s inability to book another event on this date and potentially lose revenue.

Is there a restroom onsite?

We do not allow access to the restrooms inside the home. We do offer one outside restroom for women and our couples will be responsible for providing and additional portable restrooms and a hand washing station. We have a designated area for these to be located.

What do your chair and tables look like?

Our tables are rectangular and custom-made for our venues.
